Micromax Smarty 4.0 A68 is a smartphone that operates on Android ICS platform. The device comes with 4 inch screen with IPS panel that renders clear images and stable response time. The 5MP rear camera with flash clicks great pictures and records videos. Its 1600 mAh battery gives 5 hours talk time and 144 hours standby time. Users can connect to Internet though GPRS/EDGE and Wi-Fi, while local file transfer is made possible though Bluetooth and USB. Other features include 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, multi format music player, and 32GB expandable memory.

The smartphones houses a 5 megapixel rear camera with an LED flash but misses out on a front camera. Also, other downer is the lack of 3G capabilities on this device as it only supports 2G networks. The other connectivity options on the phone include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, Micro-USB but there is no GPS on the device.

However, for those who can’t do without 3G even at this price point, you can take a look at Micromax Ninja 4, that has the same screen size as the A68 Smarty plus 3G capabilities, but  has an inferior 2 megapixel camera and lesser, 256 MB of RAM.
